Adam has worked in senior roles across the private, political and charitable sectors for more than 25 years.

In January 2017, he launched Rise Up Strategies, a national consulting practice with a focus on government relations, fundraising and project management.

As a father of two, the pandemic of 2020-22 has allowed him to discover new pastimes and interests that have shaped his outlook and priorities.

Of note, he enjoyed the time spent with his kids helping them with their schoolwork and teaching them many new things that go well beyond the official curriculum.

In January 2023, Adam joined the Board of Trustees of the Ottawa Public Library to give back to his community and honour the institution that was so foundational to sparking his own curiosities and passion for learning.
